Introducing BitRoot Gen 0

BitRoot is a pre-seed accelerator and venture capital firm in Cairo, Egypt. We back Egyptian, AI-native and technology builders through the unglamorous, unfunded stretch between a first product and a real raise.

Gen 0 is our first cohort. Applications close on October 15, 2026 at 23:59 Cairo time. Selected teams join a six-day, in-person BuildCamp in Cairo in early November 2026, followed by an Investment Committee decision.

Teams that move forward enter a three-month accelerator from the end of November 2026, focused on commercialization, scaling and VC readiness. Top performers can receive up to $250K across first and follow-on funding.

Founders work alongside 40+ operators and investors who have built, scaled and exited companies in Egypt and the region. Gen 0 is delivered in partnership with RiseUp.
